"I Will Bless Those Who Bless You"
America, Israel, and the Hand of God
A Biblical Treatise on Blessing and Judgment
God made a promise.
A divine covenant, eternal in scope.
"I will bless those who bless you, and curse those who curse you."
— Genesis 12:3
This was not empty sentiment.
It was an oath from the God who cannot lie.
The promise was to Abraham,
but it passed to Isaac, not Ishmael.
To Jacob, not Esau.
To Israel—God’s chosen nation.
The nations of history have tested this promise.
And God has never failed to deliver.
Nations That Cursed Israel Were Cursed
Egypt enslaved them.
God shattered Egypt with plagues and drowned her army in the sea.
Assyria scattered them.
God wiped Assyria off the map.
Babylon burned the Temple.
God brought Babylon low.
Rome crushed Jerusalem.
Rome itself collapsed into ruin.
God keeps receipts.
He never forgets how nations treat His people.
America Has Blessed Israel
In 1948, Israel rose from the ashes.
A modern miracle in fulfillment of ancient prophecy.
“Can a country be born in a day?” — Isaiah 66:8
Yes. And it was.
The United States stood among the first to recognize her.
Harry Truman, under great pressure, did the right thing.
Since then, America has stood with Israel.
In military aid.
In diplomacy.
In trade.
In defending her right to exist.
And America prospered.
World leader.
Economic giant.
Beacon of freedom.
Coincidence? No.
Providence? Yes.
A Pattern of Blessing
From Abraham Lincoln to Ronald Reagan,
Presidents acknowledged America’s debt to biblical truth.
Our laws reflected it.
Our schools taught it.
Our culture, for a time, honored it.
And we supported Israel.
Not perfectly.
Not always purely.
But consistently.
“Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD.”
— Psalm 33:12
And America was blessed.
But the Foundations Are Shaking
Today, the winds have shifted.
The culture despises Scripture.
The media demonizes Israel.
Universities churn out anti-Israel propaganda.
Palestinian flags fly where American ones used to.
God sees it all.
“Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil.”
— Isaiah 5:20
Many in power now seek to divide Jerusalem.
To give land God promised to Abraham’s seed
to those who deny the covenant and reject the Son.
God has something to say about that.
“I will enter into judgment with them… because they divided My land.”
— Joel 3:2
God Judges Nations
God does not judge nations in the next life.
He judges them in this one.
Edom was judged.
Moab was judged.
Babylon, Greece, Rome—gone.
Why would America be exempt?
Our Constitution does not override God’s covenant.
If we turn against Israel, we turn against God.
“He who touches you touches the apple of His eye.”
— Zechariah 2:8
God takes it personally.
History proves it.
Prophecy confirms it.
Germany Ignored the Covenant
Germany rejected God.
And turned on the Jews.
Six million murdered.
A satanic hatred unleashed.
Then came judgment.
Bombs.
Fire.
Division.
Despair.
God cursed what cursed His people.
And He will do it again.
Today’s Enemies Are on Notice
Iran threatens to wipe Israel off the map.
God will answer.
Hamas murders Jewish civilians.
God will avenge.
Western nations turn their backs.
God watches.
“I will gather all nations… and enter into judgment with them.”
— Joel 3:2
This is not over.
This is not forgotten.
Justice is coming.
America Must Choose
Bless Israel or curse her.
Stand with her or betray her.
There is no neutrality.
God doesn’t grade on a curve.
He doesn’t follow public opinion.
He honors His Word.
And His Word declares Israel beloved,
not because of her righteousness,
but because of His promise.
“For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.”
— Romans 11:29
What Must the Church Do?
Pray for Israel.
“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.”
— Psalm 122:6
Defend truth.
Speak out against lies.
Reject antisemitism in all its forms.
Preach Christ to Jew and Gentile.
“To the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
— Romans 1:16
God is not finished with Israel.
A remnant remains.
And one day,
“All Israel shall be saved.” — Romans 11:26
Let the Nations Be Warned
The King is coming.
He will return to Jerusalem, not Washington.
His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives.
— Zechariah 14:4
He will reign from David’s throne.
— Luke 1:32
He will judge the nations.
Not by policy.
But by truth.
America must return to the God of Israel.
To His Word.
To His promises.
To His Son.
Or fall like the rest.
“The wicked shall be turned into hell,
and all the nations that forget God.”
— Psalm 9:17
There is still time.
To bless.
To repent.
To stand.
But the clock is ticking.
Choose this day.

Disclaimer:
This treatise may be controversial, even among Christians, because views on Israel, prophecy, and national blessing vary widely within the Church. Some believers interpret biblical promises to Israel as fulfilled in Christ and the Church, while others maintain a distinction between God’s covenant with Israel and His work through the Church today. This writing affirms the latter view—rooted in a literal interpretation of Scripture and the belief that God’s promises to Abraham and his descendants remain in effect. While unity in Christ is paramount, honest differences in eschatology and biblical interpretation can lead to disagreement on the role of modern Israel in God’s plan. Readers are encouraged to examine the Scriptures prayerfully and test all things against the Word of God.
