Sin's Objective, Death

Lesson 7: Death — The Final Paycheck

“Sin, when it is fully grown, brings forth death.” — James 1:15

This Is Where It Ends

Not discomfort.
Not regret.
Not a slap on the wrist.

Death.

This Was Always the Destination

Sin doesn’t warn you.
It woos you.
It whispers, “You’ll be fine.”

Then it kills.

The Wages Are Fixed

“The wages of sin is death…” — Romans 6:23

You worked for sin.
It pays on time.

And the paycheck?
Death.

This Isn’t Just Physical

It’s deeper.

  • Death of peace.

  • Death of joy.

  • Death of intimacy with God.

  • Death of fellowship with others.

  • Death of usefulness in the Kingdom.

And if unrepented—
eternal death.

Hell Is the End of Grown Sin

“The soul that sins shall die.” — Ezekiel 18:20

God doesn't exaggerate.
He warns.

He is holy.
Sin will be punished.

You Don’t Fall Into Death—You Walk Into It

Step by step.
Thought by thought.
Excuse by excuse.

It all started back at temptation.
Now it ends here.

Satan Claps While You Crumble

This was always his aim.
Not to trip you.

To destroy you.

You Thought You Could Manage It

Now it owns you.
Now you’re numb.
Now you’re trapped.

And the exit is closing.

This Is the Death of a Marriage

The death of a testimony.
The death of a calling.
The death of a conscience.

The death of a man who once feared God—
but fed his sin instead.

You Didn’t Mean to Get Here

But sin never tells you the end up front.
It sells thrill.
It hides the grave.

But God…

Even now,
He offers mercy.

“The free gift of God is eternal life
in Christ Jesus our Lord.” — Romans 6:23

Sin gives death.
God gives life.

There’s Only One Way Back

Not cleaning up.
Not trying harder.
Not hiding deeper.

Repentance.

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive…” — 1 John 1:9

Turn. Today.

Because delay is deadly.
And sin doesn’t take days off.

There Is Still Blood for This

“The blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.” — 1 John 1:7

Yes, even this sin.
Even your sin.

But not without turning.

This Is Why Jesus Came

To conquer death.
To crush sin.
To rescue sinners like you and me.

“He appeared to destroy the works of the devil.” — 1 John 3:8

Don’t Let the Cycle Finish

If you’re here—at the brink—
don’t let it end with death.

Let it end with repentance.
Let it end with grace.
Let it end with a resurrection.

Summary

  • Sin fully grown leads to death.

  • Not maybe. Not probably. Always.

  • Death of joy. Death of intimacy. Death of the soul.

  • But grace still calls.

  • Jesus still saves.

  • Repentance still opens the door to life.
