How Many Needed for a Passing Grade?

Lesson 8: How Many Needed for a Passing Grade?
Answer: All of Them.
This isn’t multiple choice.
It’s not “best of seven.”
You don’t get to pick your favorites.
Remove one pillar… the house falls.
These Aren’t Accessories
They’re not bonus doctrines.
Not theological window dressing.
They’re the foundation.
Without them, there is no Gospel.
Just religion.
Just noise.
Just rubble.
Let’s Review the Pillars
The Bible is God’s Word.
Jesus is the only way.
Salvation is by grace alone.
Jesus lived a sinless life.
God is sovereign and active.
Satan is real.
Each one is load-bearing.
Each one holds up the truth.
You can’t leave one out.
What Happens If You Remove One?
Remove Scripture → You have no authority.
Remove Christ alone → You have no Savior.
Remove grace → You have no Gospel.
Remove sinlessness → You have no substitute.
Remove sovereignty → You have no assurance.
Remove Satan → You have no enemy, and no war.
Remove truth → You have no church.
The Church Doesn’t Get to Redesign the House
We are stewards, not architects.
Jesus is the builder.
The Word is the blueprint.
Truth is non-negotiable.
Half-Gospel = No Gospel
5 out of 6 is still failure.
99% truth + 1% lie = 100% false.
God doesn’t grade on a curve.
“A little leaven leavens the whole lump.” — Galatians 5:9
Jesus Doesn’t Share His Throne
You can’t remove the cross
and still expect salvation.
You can’t deny the Word
and still claim faith.
You can’t erase Satan
and still understand the fight.
Many Are Trying
Some want Jesus, but not the Bible.
Some want grace, but not repentance.
Some want comfort, not doctrine.
Some want heaven, not the cross.
They want a Savior who fits their preferences.
That’s not faith.
That’s idolatry.
The Problem Isn’t Just What’s Missing
It’s what fills the gap.
Remove God’s Word → insert man’s opinion.
Remove Christ’s exclusivity → insert pluralism.
Remove grace → insert performance.
Remove Satan → insert apathy.
Remove sovereignty → insert panic.
Remove sinlessness → insert doubt.
What’s left?
A broken gospel
that can’t save anyone.
Why It Matters
This isn’t about theological trivia.
This is about:
Truth.
Souls.
Eternity.
God’s glory.
What the Church Must Do
Preach the whole counsel of God.
Contend for every doctrine, not just the popular ones.
Refuse to apologize for the hard truths.
Build the house on the Rock, not shifting sand.
“If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?” — Psalm 11:3
One Missing Pillar — Still a Collapse
You wouldn’t trust a six-legged table with one leg gone.
You wouldn’t live in a house missing a wall.
Why stake your soul on a partial gospel?
Full Gospel. Full Christ. Full Salvation.
Don’t settle for fragments.
Don’t preach half-truths.
Don’t believe diluted doctrine.
“Contend for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints.” — Jude 3
Summary
God requires all the truth, not part.
The Gospel stands on every pillar.
One missing = the whole thing falls.
This isn’t academic — it’s eternal.
Don’t aim for a passing grade.
Aim for faithfulness.
